Lineup: dan nicholls Genres: Ambient, Downtempo Keyboardist Dan Nicholls, co-curator of the event series Free Movements, brings their penchant for creating healing spaces through improvised sound, sonic processes and spacial interventions for a takeover of the Sauna Social Club listening space. Dan has worked internationally with some of the most innovative artists in electronic music, movement practices and theatre and is one of few artists who truly improvise ambient-adjacent music for everything from qigong classes to festival listening spaces. The 'Calm Concert' format was developed for workshops as well as casual settings, to bring intimacy and deep listening practices to everyday situations. Dan will be joined by vocalists Lauren Kinsella and Lobna Sana. *Book your 70-minute sauna session, arrive early and stay late for 4 hours of music in the lounge* ABOUT AMBIENT SAUNA Our silent Treehouse sauna and chatty Herbal sauna are both equipped with sound systems designed for attentive listening. The Bunker sauna and yard offer a more social setting for conversations and meeting new people, while the Tea Loft listening lounge provides a space for shared musical exploration.
